We get a brief look at crafting and enemy mob battling, as well as some insight into travelling companions and the Little Devil Inside world at large. The soft lighting and the way it works on oceans, arctic biomes and deserts is genuinely quite impressive. There are some lovely visuals at play, showing off what Unreal Engine can do on PlayStation 5 with some lovely tilt-shift effects, giving the whole thing a toybox kind-of feel. The new video shows off some gameplay we get a look at world map traversal – where flocks of sheep can block your path, and NPCs can converse with you – and some intertiors, too. The newest trailer hasn't really made anything that much clearer, but at least we've got some more context for whatever the hell is going in in Neostream's peculiar third-person, 3D action-adventure, role-playing video game (yes, it's a mouthful).

Little Devil Inside is set for a 2022 release as a PS5 console exclusive, but will also arrive for PC as well, and will hopefully satisfy those who have waited so long for it.You may remember Little Devil Inside from its previous outing in another State of Play: the game was debuted at Sony's E3 2020 show with a mysterious trailer that didn't really give away too much of the game's actual premise.
So now they have to team up with various allies in order to investigate and confront these happenings, having to deal with not just the hacking and slashing of foes, but also the harsh elements that require survival skills. Unfortunately, the job goes south, and when Billy exits the mansion afterward, the Victorian-like land is roaming with all sorts of monsters and supernatural creatures.
It starts of with a whimsical little overhead map featuring characters depicted as almost board game-like figures, where choices are made that can affect the journey, and then Billy arrives at an ominous mansion for a job. This time around, we get a greater look at the gameplay of Little Devil Inside, starting around with traversal mechanics and how our protagonist Billy gets around. The latest clip gave us all a good look at the game, lasting about four and a half minutes, which you can check out below in full. Considering that it was one of the games that was showcased during one of the initial PS5 showcases last year, it makes sense that it would be given notable attention again, but it was still a bit of a surprise when it ended up being the big closer this time around. Ahead of the latest State of Play presentation earlier today, Sony emphasized that one of the games that would be showcased was Little Devil Inside, the still-upcoming action-adventure RPG from developers Neostream.
